Clancy is a rather large brown bear in possession of the elvish ranger Helalis Amakiia. Prone to bad tempers and fits of hunger Clancy was deemed unsuitable to become part of an organised unit of Bog Bear Cavelry. Helalis feeling compassion for the bear because of his affinity with nature adopted to use it instead of the more conventional mount of a warhorse which his squadmates selected. Although disobedient at first Clancy soon developed a bond with his elvish master becoming his loyal companion and riding animal. Invaluable in close melee combat and useful for disposing of corpses, Helalis' squadmates soon grew used to Clancy's presence.
