Lord Karhn the Dominator

Karhn the Dominator has changed much over his existence so it is necessary to explain the creation of Karhn

Creation of Karhn:Karhn's Symbol, the Mask

Like all second generation gods, Karhn was formed from residual energy caused by the death of the all-father Sven. Karhn was influenced by battle and mortal struggles, much like his brother Konrad. However, unlike Konrad, Karhn valued power and violence and saw little use for honor and bravery that his brother held so highly.
Despite their differences Konrad and Karhn were very close and ruled over all aspects of mortal conflict together. It was during this time that the two gods forged the two immortal blade of legend, Beltar and Latber.
However Karhn’s obsession with power was his undoing. He left his post watching Salenheim and travelled deep within the planets core. Here, out of sight of the other gods, Karhn began using his powers to create manifestations of Evil and corruption. Soon he had filled the core of the world with demon beasts and undead monstrosities.
This hell that Karhn had created was so vile and evil that it, unknown to Karhn, began breaking though onto the surface world. Demons and undead now existed in the mortal world.
This disruption of the balanced and beautiful world would not go unpunished - led by Konrad; Ynsertu, Nathaniel, Tristan and Welmer broke into Karhn’s domain to put a stop to their brother’s madness.
Karhn put up a far stronger fight than was expected, wielding the now tainted and evil blade Latber and using his minions to distract the gods. The battle lasted many mortal centuries. Finally Konrad managed to land a sound blow on Karhn removing his bottom jaw completely, as well as knocking the sword from his hand. When the sword was gone, Tristan was able to launch a watery storm at Karhn, bringing down his firey shields and allowing Nathaniel to finish the fallen god with a tempest like no other ever seen that ripped at the immortals body and left him broken and scarred.
The five gods left Karhn bound by unbreakable vines created by Ynsertu to the center of the planet and sealed him into his hell forever more. Welmer destroyed and cooled as much of the hell Karhn had created for himself as he could.
Leaving Karhn alive, however, was a mistake, for over the centuries Karhn found ways to manipulate the world above from his tomb and even rebuild his vile army to an extent. So deep is the taint in the core of the world now that the other gods dare not return and so Karhn the Dominator will stay at the core of the world for evermore, constantly weaving dark webs and plotting plans to escape into the world once more.

Physical Description:

The early, un-tainted Karhn is very similar in looks to Konrad however Karhn’s hair was bright red in colour and He was always shown wearing very heavy black metal armor. It is against Salenheimian law to posses images of this original Karhn before his defeat.
The more common Defeated Karhn image is of a skinny male figure bound to a large pillar of stone. The figure's face is hidden by a white porcelain mask showing a morbid face, with blood shown dripping from one of the mask's eyes. Usually one of the figure's arms is shown reaching out. Images that support Karhn’s power show the hand grasping the sword of Latber, other images against his power show the hand empty.

Teachings:

The Teachings of Karhn are harsh and brutal, Karhn values power and control over all else; there is no room for love or compassion in the heart of one who follows Karhn.

Followers:

Very few of Salenheim’s Sentient Races follow Karhn and those who do; do so in secret or against their will. The majority of Karhns followers are his vile demon creations that range in power from lowly fiends and imps to Karhn’s personal body guard of fallen angels that are beings of immense power.

Symbol:

The original symbol of the violent warrior god Karhn was the sword of Latber, but after His fall Karhn is represented by a mask with a face of grief crying blood.

Avatar:

As Karhn is bound to the immovable center of the world his Avatars are his most powerful tool to do his bidding. Avatars of Karhn wield their master's sword the felblade Latber and are filled with vast amounts of dark energy. Often Karhn will choose a human to be his Avatar in order to infiltrate the above world in hopes of opening the way for more destructive plans or at other times one of his most powerful demons will be given Latber and be tasked with leading the armies of the underworld.
