Minor God of the Skies and Weather

______________________________
Kumolas' Necklace

Physical Description :

Lady Kumolas is usually depicted as a beatiful young woman, with long dark hairand deep blue eyes and wings. She is usually shown in pair with Tenad, the God of the Earth. She is shown wearing a navy blue, black or sky blue robe. Her wings also varybetween these colours. Around her neck she wears a silver necklace with sapphire replicas of the moon, a star and clouds. Kumolas wields a pair of glass sickles.

Teachings:

Kumolas teaches very rarely, having few relations with the world other than that of her worship among the household pantheon. Temples to Kumolas bear extensive libraries and often observatories to study Kumolas' realm.

Followers:

Kumolas is followed as part of the household pantheon, as well as being held in temples in places ranging from Porttown to Reurin. Due to her control over the weather and rains, she is worshipped in Wilkinsvale as a bringer of rain, and in Porttown as a controller of the trade winds. Her temples are nearly always dome shaped and flat, with large oculi.

Symbol:

Her symbols is the gemmed necklace she bears, and replicas, sculptures, or paintings and mosaics of this symbol are seen in temples, farmhouses, household shrines and shipyards. Her sickles are sometimes seen crossed over areas of danger, as they are believed to protect the innocent from dangers unknown to them.

Avatar:

Kumolas has never been known to create a Salenheimian avatar, though in the Prophecies of Ostadamey, a prediction is made that 'Fore the end of days, a lady will appear, blessed by Kumolas, to set the mistakes all aright,' the prophet goes on to elaborate on this avatar: 'She will be born, bearing the star on her throat, and wielding the sickles of the innocent.'

Appearances:

She has never appeared to the populace of Salenheim, apart from in the skies at night, gazing down from the moon. The 'Moonlight' (a high priest of Kumolas), claims that Kumolas regularly appears to her in dreams to dictate the runnings of the world.
