How old are you?
26
When were you born?
1982
How old were you when you underwent the First Change?
21
How long have you been a werewolf?
5 years
Did the Change affect your emotional maturity? For better or worse?
I have become more mature than I was before after the change and finding a tribe to join.
Do you look older or younger than your years?
I look a bit older due to a large amount of hair and beard.
Are you more or less mature than you seem?
More, I have an on stage act that is pretty immature and sometimes it funnels down into my real life, I try to avoid it mostly but it happens. When I stop to think I am generally pretty rational.

• What was unique about your childhood?
What do you remember about your early years?
Skiing over frozen lakes with my parents and siblings every winter, walking to school through metres of snow… I have always been a winter person so most of my memories from my childhood are centered on the outdoors in colder weather. My family for the most part was loving and supportive but I often felt detached and separated, only recently did I learn why.
What was your home life like? Was it idyllic? Troubled? Abusive?
Mostly pretty good although I had random, uncontrollable mood swings often resulting in anger and confusion. This made for some awkward situations. I took up writing/playing/singing metal to express/control this anger in a more constructive way.
Where did you go to school?
Were you a good student?
Neither good nor bad; I went to class but never did exceptionally well. I passed all of my classes but not in a spectacular manner.
What is your most powerful childhood memory?
Seeing a pack of wolves move across the snow; powerful, graceful and organised.
Did you go to high school or college?
Yes, I finished high school then began to study music after working within the industry as a roadie.
Did you have a hometown, or did your family move often?
Did you run away from home?
Occasionally but never for too long; I was often protective of my friends and family.
Did you play sports?
Yes, football and various snow sports and martial arts.
Did any of your childhood friendships last until adulthood?
Yes many people I have known for years are still in regular contact these days. As I am always traveling on the road I rarely see them face to face.
Did your nascent Rage affect your childhood?
Yes, I had some unexplainable bouts of anger and I lost the occasional friend over it. If something upset me I had a tendency to overreact.
• What kind of person were you?
Did you like who you were?
Yes mostly.
How would you describe yourself as a person before the Change?
How would the people who knew you best describe you?
He is rough around the edges but easy to get along with once you know him, creative, honorable, open minded and honest but has tendencies to be egotistic, stubborn and angry. Most people like him due to his rather dominant presence so long as you don’t annoy him he is a good friend, not the sort of person you want on your bad side… that can get unpredictable; he may let it go or may put a personal vendetta against you. Who knows? Sometimes I think he is borderline insane but then he maintains normality for ages… I worry that he becomes part of things beyond his control and somehow this affects his actions.

How would someone who disliked you describe you?
Isn’t he that nerd with anger issues? Seriously how is it that anyone can like his death metal band when he is really such a softcock? I mean come on… I could beat the shit through him if he tried. You can’t be metal and honourable what bullshit.
What about a total stranger?
Metal Fan: Hey isn’t that guy the vocalist in some obscure Swedish band? I hear they are alright actually…

Non-metal fan: Whoa long hair and epic beard… wearing mostly black; better get out of his way.

Gangsta: Hey fuck you man… get out of da hood! Ghetto fo life shizzel!

Did you have an active social life?
Absolutely, being a lead singer in a band which is reasonably popular in your home country and has a cult following other the continent can make you quite popular.
A family?
I still have both parents, an older brother called Marco, and a younger sisters called Sonja. Currently no significant other, I went through a series of meaningless relationships after the first change; it is hard to relate to people individually these days as I tend to see things as ‘packs’ and ‘tribes’
A steady job?
Yes, works as a sound technician (well a roadie actually) for tours of major bands. Often gets invited to play support acts.
Good friends, or simply acquaintances?
My band mates and people I knew before the change are good friends. Other people despite getting on well are just acquaintances so a mixture I guess. I know heaps of people a little but very few people a lot.
How did you expect life to go before the Change turned everything upside down?
For the band to one day make it big lol… nah not really. I expected the band to fall apart pretty soon but it still hasn’t. I guess I thought I would end up a producer or studio technician as I did a lot of that sort of stuff at college.
