Lord Tristan
Major God of the Sea and Wisdom
Physical Description:
Tristan is portrayed in his temples and shrines as a small and slim human figure,

with medium length hair, held back with a woolen headband. He is usually shown wearing a coat or jacket, the collar folded up to cover his gills, with a fish in his left hand and a small flail in his right. In more warlike areas or societies he is depicted wearing scale mail. Very rarely and especially in the far south, Tristan is shown as a dolphin-like creature, with detailed swirling carvings around the tail.
Teachings:
Tristan supports all those in learning, his temples being the greatest hubs of learning in the country. His defensive and passive personality sometimes puts him at odds with other gods, but he is generally well-liked. His temples are usually conical, with a shrine at the pointed end and a large library and cloisters to the wider end.
Followers:
Tristan's followers are usually scientists, clerics and other people of learning, although He has a multitude of supporters among the wider community, who find his calm demeanor more comfortable than
Konrad's or many other god's aggression and appreciate his bounties and gifts.
Symbol:
The symbol of Tristan is that of an eel with a pearl. The eel is either holding the pearl in its mouth or wrapped around it in the manner of one protecting its young.
Avatar:
Tristan is usually represented on Earth by great scientists or masters of learning, able to reach the top of their respective fields. They are usually recognisable by a use of squid ink in their writings, a passive personality and desire to do good to all things.
Residence:
Tristan is usually found in an elaborate palace in a deep and well-hidden cave by a lake deep in the Schyst Creek Region. He can be seen sometimes in fog over places of learning, blessing them with his flail.
